CALL FOR WORKSHOP PROPOSALS
The 16th annual NJ Storytelling Festival will return to Grounds for Sculpture in Hamilton, NJ, September 28, 2008. This year we plan to offer 2 workshops in the morning before the performances begin. Each workshop will run about 2 hours.
Workshop presenters will be given a $150 honorarium. We invite and encourage you to submit a workshop proposal.
Please answer the questions in the order given below.
1. Name, Address, home phone, cell phone and email.
2. Workshop title and description. Include goals and objectives (what participants will learn). This information will be used to apply for continuing education credits.
3. Proposed audience (beginner, experienced, librarian, clergy, teacher, parent and child, youth etc)
4. Method of presentation—please estimate percentage of time on different presentation techniques ( for example -- discussion, 25% participation, etc.)
5. Space and equipment needs: Size of room, flip chart, audio-visual, etc.
6. Describe your workshop. Maximum 75 words, including how you will meet your objectives. (Portions of this may appear in the brochure.)
7. Describe handouts included in this workshop.
8. Where and when you presented this workshop previously or other workshops like it.
