We are looking for storytellers who have been telling for a while and who feel they have knowledge to share with the future generation of storytellers. There are new people committing to the art form of Storytelling every day, but who are unsure of how to get started, what to do, and how to do it. You can be the bridge from the unknown into a future of Storytelling prolificacy.

Kevin Cordi has offered to facilitate a teleconference for those of you who are interested in being mentors. We hope to have this in May.

NSN would like to unveil this connection time at the NSN conference in July, and continue the opportunity at the NSN tent during the festival in October

People who desire to work with a mentor could contact me now, and people who attend the First Timers Luncheon at the conference can sign up to meet with a more experienced teller.

NSN is sponsoring the 30 minute connection time. Any further time is up to the mutual discretion of the participants.

Mentors will be contacted to better determine areas of expertise to help those seeking help pinpoint where they should begin their search for knowledge.

The seekers of help and the helpers may register their desire to participate by emailing Frankie@storynet.org or by posting on The Forum. We have about a dozen experienced people who have volunteered to be a part of this project. We hope to have more people who would like to work with them.

I have been telling for years and most of my telling has been in the Corporate world. I know what I do... but I would very interested to know what others do. I would be interested in learning and sharing with anyone. Just keep me in mind when you start the discussion.

See you at this year's National Conference.

Buck P
