Have any of you tried to list events on the NSN calendar lately? I've looked and looked but can't find the place to do that. It used to be really easy, but the new website is confusing. And once you're into the Memberclicks place, it's not so easy to get back to NSN (you have to read that little bitty print at the top).

....and please use the calendar at Storyteller.net that actually gets used by our guests. Easy to find for them and easy for you to use. Self Serve, no waiting.

By the hammer of Thor!
I just looked, and I couldn't find the calendar or the submit page.

Okay, with Google, I was able to find both:
Calendar: http://www.storynet.org/Events/Calendar/
Submit an Event: http://www.storynet.org/contact/submit.php

Working backwards, I figured out the path from the front page.
First you have to mouse over "Events" to see a "Calendar" link.
Or you click on Events, and "Calendar of Storytelling Events" is the 4th link down.

I stopped posting events to NSN long ago, because of the "90 days previous" policy. Most of my gigs are scheduled less than 90 days in advance, so I don't bother.

I do use Storyteller.net, also Craigslist, Upcoming.org, MySpace, Tribe.net, and Going.com. They are all self-service and instantaneous.

Hmmm. I like to post mine on NSN because, well, it's the storytelling organization and seems like that's where I should list them. Sean, I have not listed yet on Storyteller.net.

Holly sent me the link to post to NSN so I wll probably do that. But I will also start posting to Storyteller.net.

Since NSN went online, the 90-day lead time seems to be a left-over. I see my events posted quickly. One even got selected as a featured event about a year ago, and I'm fairly sure I didn't get it up there more than 90-days in advance.

And yes, Sean, I also post them at storyteller.net...

Caveat, I only post the "open to the public" shows, since there is no reason to post the school/library stuff that are the majority of my performances.

Yeah we are working on our calendar. I just disabled the calendar in Memberclicks since it wasn't being used.

To add events go to this page http://www.storynet.org/Events/Calendar/.
