Somewhere I heard or read a story about a princess in a castle with her maids for 7 years. After the 7 years the girls came out to see the land bare of all living things. I think they go to a neighboring castle and get jobs??? Does anyone know this story??

That is the one I remember. I like how in the story the princess and her maids save themselves.
