I am in a desperate search for a story. I had it once, many years ago and the name of this story has come across my way again.
Has one ever heard "How the moon got his glow back". I remember the story to have a very good message in it. Thanks for the help.

Try looking on this site. http://scijinks.jpl.nasa.gov/weather/people/folklore/printfolklore.html

It has weather and space related stories from all cultures.

Do you know what tradition the story came from? Literary? If you give me a little more to go on, I'll try to help you find it. If you find it from the above site, please let me know.

Thank you for the suggestion of the site. I did review it but the story was not there. I heard this story about 11 years ago and the origin of it has slipped my mind. I'm not sure if it is in an African folklore or not. I am still searching. I do apologize that I don't know more about it. But as I said.....it has been years since I have heard it.

http://www.windows.ucar.edu/tour/link=/mythology/planets/Earth/moon.html (This is from University of Mich.

http://www.savvyfrog.com/Society/Folklore/Literature/Tales/Sun_and_Moon_Lore (This page has a list of moon folk lore sites.)

Let me know if these help. Rivka
