is anyone coming to this forum or are there just a very few of us posting? I really like this because it's flexible, I can read and respond anytime, and my email inbox doesn't get clogged up. But where are the rest of the storytellers? It's not much fun if no one is here...

71 users are registered though, at present, only a few post. Time will help. Storytell list was leaner in its beginnings.

Things that will help:
- talk it up at StLouis conference & similar events
- post a link to Forum when we post on Storytell & reference something said here
- end of summer library storytelling season will free up time for people to do stuff like this

Hey Granny Sue and Healy! Here in Vermont it is still spring, very wet and sticky. My neighbor Wendell forgot to turn off the taps on the Maple trees and let all the sap run down the road. That sap is worse than tar. The local school track team was running down the road yesterday and got their shoes stuck in it. There was a frost last night, they were okay though, they did calesthentics in place to stay warm. The town road crew showed up this morning to chip 'em out.
Other than that, pretty quiet up here. You? Wink

We are going to try to get the forums announced at the Membership Meeting Smile. Hopefully, that will bring in more people.

Because these forums have to compete with other communication avenues, notably storytell, but also all the NSN SIG and Discussion Groups listservs, I suspect that it's going to be difficult for this board to generate critical mass.

There are two things that I think will help propel it into a sustainable and useful tool.

1) think we need 300 registered members to achieve a self-perpetuating critical mass of regular contributors.

2) Those of us who are here, we can't wait for interesting discussion to happen. We have to instigate it, and make these boards a "must read" destination.
